Rusty Fox Clay grew out of an artist’s lifelong love for colour, culture, and honest craft. What began as creative exploration across world travels became a dedicated Irish studio where every single piece is still shaped, textured, and finished by hand.
We work primarily with polymer clay. It is a versatile material that lets us capture bold shades and rich textures without adding weight. Each collection is designed around what matters most: distinctive art, skin-friendly materials, and pieces light enough to wear all day.
Made in small batches in the West of Ireland, we photograph, package, and post each order ourselves so you feel the genuine studio care behind every single box.
MEET THE MAKER
Hi, I’m Giorgi: an artist, traveler, and the heart behind Rusty Fox Clay.
My journey has taken me across the globe, from the vibrant streets of South America to the remote beauty of Antarctica, from Africa’s warmth to the stillness of the Nordics. Along the way, I fell in love with the power of colour, the timeless elegance of Nordic simplicity, and the rich tapestry of cultures that shape our world.
At 19, I made Ireland my home. Though life has taken me to other corners of Europe, my love for Ireland’s spirit and wild beauty has never faded. Today, I run my studio from County Mayo in the West of Ireland, where I pour that passion for art into every piece of handmade jewellery.
Rusty Fox Clay was also inspired by my little helper, Leo: my fox-like pup whose playful spirit keeps me grounded. Just like him, the “fox” in Rusty Fox Clay carries a sense of curiosity, warmth, and a dash of wild charm.
My background in art helps me shape lightweight polymer clay into unique, colourful creations. Each piece is designed to celebrate individuality and brighten your everyday style!

We craft in small, limited quantities on purpose. This approach ensures meticulous quality control, keeps collections fresh, and makes every pair of polymer clay earrings and every necklace feel genuinely special.

Polymer clay is surprisingly light. Fitted with skin-friendly, hypoallergenic findings, you can wear our jewellery all day long and forget it's there... until someone asks where you got it!

We package every order using recycled and compostable materials wherever possible. By avoiding mass production and reducing studio waste, we ensure every collection is made with intention.
From raw clay to finished art.
STEP 01
Design & colour concept
Every collection begins with inspiration: a seasonal palette, architectural shapes, or memories of travels. We sketch, swatch, and refine combinations long before a single piece of raw clay is opened.
STEP 02
Condition & blend
Clay is conditioned by hand until perfectly smooth, then blended into the exact hues we need. Each colour is mixed from scratch, and no two batches are identical.
STEP 03
Shape & artisan texture
Using hand rollers, precision cutters, and texture tools, each piece is shaped individually. This is where flat clay comes to life, turning raw material into lightweight statement jewellery.
STEP 04
Bake, hand-sand, drill & hardware assembly
Pieces are slow-baked for strength, then precision-drilled and hand-sanded through multiple fine-grit stages for a silky smooth finish. Finally, skin-friendly hypoallergenic findings are attached by hand, and each piece/pair undergoes a quality check before packing.
